Munstead Lavender Easy Fit Upcycled Cotton Beanie - S/M and L/XL
If you need a bit more stretch to wear your beanie low or have a larger noggin, we have FINALLY made a super large beanie, like really large. If you've got a big ol' head, then these will be perfect for you. We are very proud of these hats; it's taken a lot to make them happen, and we think you'll be very happy with the end product.
Please keep in mind cotton is not a heat-retaining fiber; although these are thicker and heavier than any cotton hat we've done before, we do recommend the Ragg Wool beanies, mohair beanies, or upcycled wool watch caps for the harsher colder winter days.
SIZE GUIDE:
S/M: 11 inches long and 8 to 8.5 wide.
L/XL: 12 inches long and 9-9.5 inches wide.
Content: 100% UPCYCLED ECO-COTTON
What is eco-cotton? Eco-cotton is a blend of reclaimed cotton fibers from discarded garment scraps combined with a small amount of polyester made from the incredible RPET process of recycling plastic (PET) bottles into fiber. Through a proprietary scrap fabric color matching system, there are no dyes or chemicals used in the process of creating such vibrant colors from what would otherwise be textile waste.

Washing Instructions: Hand spot wash with soap and lay flat to dry. If you do machine wash, be prepared for a fair amount of shrinkage.
Source: This hat is made from RCotton, a yarn milled in Spain by Ferre, a centuries-old mill. Why Spain? Spain is home to the largest textile manufacturing factories in the world (Zara, anyone?) and is a country that is decades ahead of any other country in recycling post-industrial and post-consumer textile waste produced by these factories. We purchase this yarn from their American partner mill, Hickory Throwing, in North Carolina.
Production: Knit in Waterloo, NY, by our friends and knitting partners at Mozaic Organization, a not-for-profit employing, assisting, and providing services to thousands of disabled persons in the Finger Lakes, NY, area. The raw knit material is then shipped in rolls to our Greenpoint, Brooklyn, sewing facility, where it is cut, sewn, and finished by our lovely team.
