100% U.S.A. made from American Ragg Wool. The Ragg Wool Beanie is a heavyweight, double-layer cap weighing in at 5 ounces.

Some pilling is natural as the loose ends come together. These are easily removed with a wool comb or carefully (very carefully!) with scissors.

85% USA Wool, 15% USA Nylon. This wool us custom made for us by our friends at Kraemer yarns in Pennsylvania. 

What is Ragg Wool?

The definition of ragg wool is a yarn formed of two strands of dyed wool and one strand of undyed wool often combined with other fibers, such as nylon. 

The American made nylon in this traditional workwear wool blend allows for shape retention and durability, plus additional softness. This high quality and heavyweight yarn  will wick away moisture to keep the head warm and dry during the coldest Winter days.

Washing Instructions
Machine or hand wash with any detergent and lay flat to dry, you can machine dry on warm but we do not really recommend this.

These beanies are a bit shorter than our Mohair Beanies but have enough stretch to be worn pulled down over the ears and snug to the head. Due to the double-layer, heavyweight qualities of these hats, they are the warmest style we produce and are suitable for colder temperatures.
